My idea classroom would be a sixth or seventh grade language arts class or reading class. I can see how both flowcharts and mind maps could be helpful. During a reading class, both of these concepts could help students find the main ideas, plot out the summary, correlate the characters, and many other story ideas. They could also use either of these concepts to create, write, and diagram their own stories. I can also see both of these being useful in a language arts classroom. These could be added to a PowerPoint or worksheet.
